Civil Partnerships are for couples regardless of their gender. A declaration ceremony can be celebrated anywhere in Queensland, with your Civil Partnership Notary lodging the documents with BDM.  Registration of a Civil Partnership gives a couple a legal recognition of their relationship. This may be practical for taxation, superannuation, medical, and social security purposes. However, a Civil Partnership Ceremony is also a personal and emotional expression of commitment between two people. Only one witness is legally required, however, couples can invite all their friends and family to celebrate with them. 10 days notice is required to be given before a Civil Partnership Declaration Ceremony.

Here's what Dyan and Sue said, "Thank you so much for making our civil partnersip ceremony such an amazing experience. It honestly felt like you rode the ride with us and your support was inspiring. It really felt like a family member officiated over our ceremony and I cannot thank you enough for encompassing our personalities, our lives and our love in a ceremony that few would understand. Thank you making it definitely one to remember."
