Wedding at Redland Bay

Celisse and Darren took advantage of a scenic family property in Redland Bay for their recent wedding. Their brief was for a relaxed, but memorable ceremony, free of stress and drama.
They built a wooden arbour and set up Americana chairs looking out to the bay and islands. With the recent rain, the property was looking green and lush.
The bridesmaids wore sage green maxi dresses, and the best gal, Sally, wore a navy vest with trousers, matching the groom and groomsmen. Celisse looked breathtakingly beautiful in a leaf lace dress with blush underlay.
The couple chose the reading,
"If I could turn back the clock
I’d find you sooner and love you longer.
I may not be your first date, first kiss or first love
But I’ll be your last everything."
After the ceremony and photos in the garden, the couple and their guests celebrated with a reception at Redland Bay Golf Club.

Pop Up Wedding at W.H. Yeo Park, Victoria Point, Brisbane

Helen and Rhys are busy people. They have jobs, a baby, and a home to maintain. They wanted to be married, but didn't want the fuss, formality or expense of a traditional wedding. The couple chose the Pop Up Wedding package from Elope Brisbane which includes your celebrant, photographer, Kombi transportation, flowers, hair and makeup, ceremony styling and wedding cake. https://elopebrisbane.com.au/elopement.../pop-up-weddings/

Their wedding day was a blustery afternoon, with showers possible, but Helen and Rhys decided to move their ceremony location to a more protected park by the bay at Victoria Point. W.H. Yeo Park was set up by Mel and Deb from Miss Weddings, with an arbour and bamboo chairs. A barrel was added to be used for the signing of the marriage certificates.

Helen had her hair secured with fancy pins in a regal upstyle by Suzie from An Eye for Style. Even in the gusty conditions, her hair was immaculate. Helen chose a natural make up which enhanced her classic features. She chose a boho style wedding dress with drop sleeves from Desert Moon Bridal, which was just gorgeous. Her bouquet consisted of wildflowers with a pop of yellow.
Helen arrived at the ceremony with her bridesmaids, mum, and daughter in the bright orange 1973 Kombi, Busta Rydes. She walked down the aisle to the song, "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.
The bridesmaids wore forest green dresses, and the flower girls pretty much did their own thing while looking adorably cute, as one year olds tend to do.
Rhys wore a sage green jacket with a matching tie. Beside him stood his sister, in a striking forest green pants suit, and his brother, relaxed in chinos and a white shirt.
Their ceremony, which I created with lots of input from the couple, was a twist on the traditional marriage ceremony, with a few laughs and a focus on family.
Photographer, Romana Saeheng, captured some photos to cherish of the couple and their guests, before they headed off to their celebratory dinner.
Congratulations to this awesome couple, we just loved working with you.

Wedding at Redland Bay Golf Club

When they first met, Troy noticed that Kirstie just didn’t stop talking. He liked that he could just smile and nod and not have to say too much. Kirstie noticed that Troy was a great listener. He never interrupted, and just let her talk and talk. It was a match made in heaven, and Troy realised this after about 6 years of knowing each other, and asked Kirstie to be his girlfriend. That was eight years before the day that Troy and Kirstie said, "I do" at Redland Bay Golf Club. Kirstie's brother and his mate were Flower Men, and dispersed rose petals along the aisle before Kirstie walked down the aisle accomapnied by her dad. The bridesmaids were Kirstie's sisters and friends, and they wore dusty pink dresses. Kirstie wrote, "Thank you so much for performing our wedding. We had the most beautiful day. You had everyone laughing and crying and that’s exactly what we wanted. We received so many compliments about you and how you were the perfect fit for our day. We will definitely be leaving you a 5 star review and be recommending you to family and friends. "

Wedding at Redland Bay Golf Club

Michelle chose green satin dresses for her three bridesmaids, and they walked down the aisle at Redland Bay Golf Club to Higher Love by James Vincent McMorrow.

When they first met, David noticed that Michelle was so beautiful. He was also under the false impression that she was shy, but as she warmed to him, Michelle didn't stop chatting.
Michelle noticed that David was gentlemanly and kind. He surprised her with his sense of humour and ease of conversation.

As they spent more time together, David appreciated Michelle's kind nature and family values. He loved the way she sand and laughed. Michelle valued David's intelligence and his capability when under pressure.

It wasn't long before David started picturing a future with Michelle, and after obtaining her parents' blessing, proposed to her. Which Michelle excitedly accepted.

Wedding at Redland Bay Golf Club

High school sweethearts Shania and Hayden were looking for a relaxed and stress free local wedding venue and chose Redland Bay Golf Club as their ideal location.

With a handy location, plenty of parking and the ability to have the ceremony and reception at the same location, Redland Bay Golf Club ticked all their boxes. The beautifully maintained lawns and gardens provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding. The couple chose the Gazebo location at Redland Bay Golf Club, one of three ceremony areas to choose from.

With rain showers predicted, guests arrived prepared with clear umbrellas. These also provided some cute photo opportunitues. Chelsea, the bubbly events coordinator at Redland Bay Golf Club, organised golf carts for the bridal part to access scenic photo locations around the golf course and adjoining Redland Bay.

Shania was stunning in a long ivory lace gown, and Hayden was dapper in dark trousers with an oatmeal coloured jacket. The bridesmaids wore a rustic burnt orange shift dress, and the groomsmen picked up the burnt orange colour in their vibrant ties.
