Samantha and Scott’s micro wedding on North Stradbroke Island was intimate, relaxed and full of spring magic. Coordinated by the Elope Stradbroke team, the day unfolded beneath clear blue skies, with golden sunshine, ocean views and a calm island vibe that suited the couple perfectly.

North Stradbroke Island added its own unforgettable moments. Whales swam close to shore, slapping their tails and lifting their fins through the sparkling water, while a pod of dolphins moved through the waves nearby. Wallabies grazed on the lawn, and during the ceremony a kookaburra sat in a nearby tree, quietly watching the proceedings.

The ceremony setting was simple and beautiful: a wooden sun arbour on a jute mat, styled with sunflowers, white Americana chairs and dusty blue fabric on the signing table. Scott arrived with his son and groomsman in light-coloured linen suits, looking effortlessly coastal for a spring wedding by the sea.

Samantha spent the morning having her hair and makeup done before dressing in a gorgeous lace gown with a long net veil that flowed in the breeze. Her bridesmaid walked down the aisle in pale yellow with the couple’s daughter, before Sam stepped out on the arm of her dad.

As Sam and Scott came together at the arbour, they grinned excitedly and reached for each other’s hands. Bubble wands placed on each chair added a playful touch for guests to celebrate the newlyweds as the day unfolded. Later, the reception moved to the deck at the golf club, where round tables were dressed in white cloths, sage green runners, and flowers in dusty pink tones.

Scott kept his look relaxed and refined in a beige suit paired with a crisp white shirt. The details tied in neatly with the day’s natural palette, from the white rose boutonniere to the green pocket square, finished with a tan belt for a classic touch.

Courtney’s look was classic and romantic, with a white lace dress featuring simple shoulder straps.
