Catherine and Mark’s Intimate Raby Bay Wedding

Catherine and Mark chose the garden of Catherine’s parents’ Raby Bay home for a relaxed ceremony overlooking the canal. With only their closest family and friends gathered on the deck, the setting felt private, personal and completely at home by the water.
Chairs were arranged on the deck, giving guests a gorgeous view across the canal. Rather than making separate entrances, Catherine and Mark walked out together to "I Found My Forever" by Nezzara—a fitting choice that perfectly reflected the sense of partnership at the heart of their day.
Mark looked smart in a charcoal suit paired with a duck-egg blue shirt. Catherine was stunning in a full-length navy-blue, off-the-shoulder dress finished with soft shoulder ruffles. Her curled hair was swept up and secured with a gold-and-pearl clip, adding a delicate finishing touch to her elegant look.
One of the most meaningful moments of the ceremony came when Catherine and Mark shared the beautiful vows they had written for each other. They stood before a treasured family heirloom: a white wrought-iron heart, skilfully crafted by a clever uncle. More than a striking ceremony backdrop, the heart brought family history and personal significance into the centre of the celebration.

Catherine poured her creativity into countless personal touches for the day. From customised stubby holders and water bottles to individual chair name tags and a welcoming entrance sign, every detail helped make the celebration feel unmistakably theirs.

After the celebration and some photos, the group headed to Fiction Bar at Raby Bay to celebrate.
