Leigh added a personal touch to their ceremony by surprising Dennis with the processional song, selecting the Wedding version of the Jurassic Park Theme. The ceremony began with Dennis making his way down the aisle first, accompanied by his four groomsmen, each dressed in stylish suits. Following them, the four bridesmaids entered, wearing elegant butter yellow dresses. The two flower girls charmed everyone as they scattered rose petals along the aisle. Leigh was the last to arrive, appearing calm and graceful in a fitted white, off-the-shoulder dress with a row of tiny buttons down the back. She wore a stunning cathedral-length veil with scalloped edges and carried a bouquet of lilies.

Lee, the best man, had his hands full—literally—looking after both the couple’s young son, Elijah, and the wedding rings. He just didn’t seem to have enough hands for everything, and passed the smiling bubs over to his grandmother in order to retrieve the wedding rings from his pocket. Such a cute moment!

The ceremony was genuine, heartfelt and memorable, and was topped off by the couple's clever and witty vows to one another.

After a kiss, Leigh and Dennis walked back down the aisle, hand in hand, and were congratulated by friends and family under the shady gum trees.

Georgia and Rowan first met at White Water World where they were both working as lifeguards.

When they first met, Rowan noticed that Georgia was easy going, confident, and totally unpretentious.

Georgia thought Rowan was a little mysterious. He kept his personal life to himself, and wasn’t on social media.

A few years later, when they began to spend time together outside of work with mutual friends, they realised that there was some chemistry between them. In front of the Wave Pool after work, Rowan asked Georgia out on a date.

The couple’s first date was to see Ocean Alley play at the iconic Tivoli. They shared their first kiss during the crescendo of Rowan’s favourite song, as confetti cannons showered the crowd. It was the perfect first date.

Fast forward to 2024, and the couple celebrated their decision to marry with a beautiful ceremony at Sirromet Winery, Mount Cotton. Amongst the rolling, green hills, wallabies, and lily filled lagoon, the couple said, "I do."

With music being important to the couple, they hired singer/guitarist, Jason, for both the ceremony and reception. As Georgia stepped out onto the aisle to walk towards Rowan, Jason sang a single word, "Georgia" which goosebumped each and every one of the guests. The Stephen Sanchez song was the perfect fit for such an entrance.

Georgia looked absolutely stunning in a long sleeved dress with a sheer, appliqued top and a plunging back. Her fair hair was swept into a simple and classic bun, and a long veil was fastened beneath this.

Her maid of honour, Joanna, wore a satin sage green dress, and both carried bouquets of bright natives featuring proteas.

Rowan and his brother looked dapper in 3 piece suits, shiny shoes, and bouttonieres.

We spent considerable time back and forth to create a script for the ceremony, with plenty of sentiment and a few laughs, and watching the video back, the tale of the couple's story reflected that investment.

Georgia wrote, "Your presentation style was exactly what we wanted and made the ceremony feel very true to who we are."

Michelle and Dan chose the beautiful chapel on the lagoon at Sirromet Wines for their October wedding. Early in their planning, the couple realised that their wedding day would fly by so quickly, so they prioritised spending time with their guests when scheduling the day.

In their quest to capture every precious moment, Dan and Michelle organised to meet photographer, Samuel Parke, before their ceremony, so that the couple and wedding party photos wouldn’t cut into their post ceremony time. They asked celebrant Cheryl Landsberry to streamline ceremony, ensuring that their 3:30pm ceremony would be wrapped up by 3:50pm, allowing 10 minutes for the group photo, and the celebrations to commence at 4:00pm.

Michelle wore a gorgeous white gown with a fitted bodice and fluted skirt by Sophia Tolli. She cut a striking silhouette as she stepped out down the pathway towards her waiting groom. Groom Dan wore a mid blue suit, and the groomsmen and bridesmaids wore navy.

A second chance in love - Wedding at Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton

There's nothing quite love that first love - that intense feeling of tummy butterflies, delicious deliria, and heart stopping kissing. But there's something even more special about finding love a second time around - a sense of ease, comfort, assurance, and well being.

Jennifer and Bryan met when their children had become independent, and they gradually formed a relationship which culminated some seventeen years later when they married at Sirromet Wines.

I think Jennifer's vows summed up their story, " Bryan, you found me in the Autumn of my life and reaffirmed my capacity to love. In your arms, my spirit has been nurtured and my heart restored. And so I promise to spend the Autumn and the Winter of my life caring for you and loving you." These vows were just perfect for a second chance at love.

Jennifer and Bryan always aim to see the sunny side of life, and Jennifer appreciates Bryan's sense of humour which never fails to make her laugh. In his vows, Bryan included the line, " I promise to listen to you when I'm reversing the caravan," which had not just Jennifer, but all the guests, giggling a little. 

Their wedding ceremony at Sirromet Wines was attended my just their immediate families, which numbered a few with their children and their partners, and grandchildren of varying ages. The grandchildren were involved in the ceremony by presenting the wedding rings and blowing bubbles at the end of the ceremony.

Celebrant Cheryl Landsberry, local to Sirromet Wines, created a relaxed and intimate ceremony for the couple, and took care of all the legal essentials.

This gorgeous couple chose the Tuscan Terrace for their ceremony, one of the three areas available for wedding ceremonies. The terrace overlooks the rolling, green hills at the winery.
