September Wedding at Redland Bay Golf Club

September wedding at Redland Bay Golf Club

After planning their wedding for months, Ashlee and Jack were disappointed when rain was forecast for their wedding day. Their venue, Redland Bay Golf Club, has a great backup ceremony option, where couples can have their ceremony on the covered deck of the golf club, with a view out over the golf course, but Ashlee and Jack were really hoping that their ceremony could be held on the lawn.
On the morning of their wedding, scattered showers swept over Brisbane, but luckily for them, Redland Bay remained dry, so their garden wedding could go ahead as planned.
Ashlee and her three bridesmaids, wearing terracotta coloured dresses, arrived at the venue, and were greeted by Chelsea, the functions coordinator. Chelsea ensured that all the bra straps were tucked in and bouquets were held low, then after signing a thumbs up to me to start the music, sent the bridesmaids down the path to the arbour. Ashlee followed them, looking just gorgeous, accompanied by her mum. Ashlee chose the song, “Crazier” an instrumental piece by Minnz Piano to walk down the aisle.

Jack was waiting at the arbour, supported by his twin brother and groomsmen. Ashlee said all her nerves flew away as soon as she was standing beside Jack, his hands holding hers throughout the ceremony.

After a short and sweet ceremony, and a group photo, photographer Richard accompanied the bridal party around the golf course on carts for a photo shoot while the weather was clear.
The couple enjoyed such a wonderful wedding day, I hope it was everything they had been looking forward to.

Ashlee left me a beautiful 5 star Google review: "Cheryl made everything so easy for us. Her warm and welcoming nature made us feel so comfortable in our meetings, on our rehearsal and on our wedding day. She always held professionalism, and was very helpful to any queries we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better ceremony and celebrant."
