North Stradbroke Island wedding

North Stradbroke Island is an island paradise, only half an hour off the coast of Cleveland, a suburb of Brisbane. The waters are crystal clear, and the sand is pristine, making Straddie the choice for Brisbane, interstate, and international couples looking for a beach wedding.

To get to North Stradbroke Island, the Stradbroke Flyer leaves from Toondah Harbour at Cleveland on the hour. http://www.flyer.com.au/ Buses meet each water taxi to take passengers from Dunwich to the surf beaches at Point Lookout.

Stradbroke Ferries offer the choice of a vehicle barge or a passenger water taxi. https://www.stradbrokeferries.com.au/

Deadman's beach is a secluded beach near Point Lookout, within close walking distance from the carpark. The area can be booked for weddings at Redland City Council.  https://www.redland.qld.gov.au/info/20133/parks_and_foreshore_reserves/92/book_a_park_reserve_or_beach
Wedding at North Stradbroke Island
This morning wedding in January was relaxed and picture perfect. There was even a pod of dolphins frolicking close to shore. The bride and groom stayed in accommodation on Straddie the evening before, ate dinner at a local restaurant, and walked along the beach under the moonlight in preparation for their wedding.
