Married at Redland Bay Golf Club

Married at Redland Bay Golf Club

Neil and Jessica were blessed with a beautiful winter’s day for their August wedding at Redland Bay Golf Club. Jessica’s bridesmaids wore burgundy dresses. Neil and his best men (yes – you can have two best men if you can’t decide between your two wing men) wore navy suits with burgundy ties. And Jessica was just lovely in a long, white gown.
Stealing the show were Jessica’s niece and nephew, who adorably presented the wedding rings during the ceremony. Despite their young age, they were beautifully behaved and totally cute to boot.

Neil and Jessica were quite anxious in the lead up to their wedding day, so it was lovely to see them relax and grin once the formalities were complete. Neil wrote, “Thank you so much - the whole day went perfectly and everyone was so easy to deal with.”
The couple hired the preferred suppliers at Redland Bay Golf Club, and were so pleased with how easily everything came together.
Best wishes for this sweetest of couples.

Stradbroke Island winter wedding with whale watching and wallabies

Winter wedding, whale watching, and wallabies

Paul always dreamed of marrying on North Stradbroke Island, so when he proposed to Rhiannan, the couple contacted the team at Elope Stradbroke to make their dreams come true.
Rhiannan and Paul decided on a simple wedding, with a purple theme, and chose the Simply Elope package which includes celebrant and photographer.
On their wedding day, a sunny Winter afternoon, we watched whales frolicking just off shore. The couple chose a secluded beach to make their vows to each other, surrounded by just immediate family and Paul's best mate.

Rhiannan looked stunning in an ivory boho gown from Tree of Life. She wore a hand made flower crown, and carried a bouquet of dried flowers, both featuring purples and mauves. Paul wore a purple shirt, as did his best man and also the father of the bride.
The bride’s heirloom veil was worn by her mother, and two of her sisters, and it fluttered in the ocean breeze. What a sweet way to include “something borrowed”!

After the short and sweet ceremony, the couple were showered in purple Hydrangea petals. The group then enjoyed shots of Vodka in pewter shot glasses engraved with the couples’ names.
Photographer, Romana, led the couple to some of the most scenic lookouts on Straddie for some timeless wedding photos, where they were thrilled to be photobombed by wallabies.

Rhiannan wrote, “Where can I even begin?!? We could not recommend Cheryl enough. She made the elopement process so easy and stress free. From initial contact she gets the ball rolling in the right direction, and was such a delight to deal with all the way through. When she already knew of the song that Paul and I first started bonding over, Jimmy Recard by Drapht, we knew we had the perfect celebrant for our special day. Thank you so much Cheryl for letting us do our elopement our way, and helping us create a magical day we will never forget.”

Winter wedding at Redland Bay Golf Club

Karl and Jade decided on an afternoon wedding at Redland Bay Golf Club. They requested a simple, but warm ceremony which would include their daughter.

Karl arrived at the Golf Club in the turquoise Kombi driven by Matty from Mr Entertainment. He welcomed the guests as they arrived, and there were hugs and high fives all around.

Next, Jade arrived with her dad and her daughter in a vintage black Rolls Royce.

She walked down the aisle to Matty singing, “Here comes the sun” by The Beatles.

The couple opted to skip the personal vows, and opted for a bubble machine to enhance their celebrations.

Karl left this much appreciated review:

“Cheryl made creating our vows for our wedding day a dream. She provided options and ideas, always thinking to include our daughter, which was extremely important to us. We are thrilled with our low-key and very personal ceremony and couldn’t have asked for anything more. Cheryl’s guidance and support made the entire process seamless and memorable, leaving us with a ceremony that truly reflected our love and commitment. We are forever grateful for her help in making our special day perfect.”

Married at Redland Bay Golf Club

Micky and Matt first met at the Met Nightclub at Fortitude Valley early on a Sunday morning. Micky had done a little too much celebrating and was sitting at the top of the stairs waiting for her friends. Gentlemanly Matt decided to sit with Micky and keep her company. When Micky’s friends returned and saw her sitting with a strange man, they immediately dragged her away, but not before Matt had asked Micky for her name and number.

Over the following weeks, Micky and Matt texted back and forth. Matt invited Micky on a dinner date, and from that moment, they were inseparable.
After eight years together, they married at Redland Bay Golf Club under the arbour. Micky wore a beautiful lace dress from Luv Bridal and wore her platinum hair in Hollywood waves. With a jewelled pin holding her hair back on the left side, Micky chose to stand on the right side of the ceremony space for the ceremony. There is no law about where anyone stands, so each couple can decide what works best for them. The bridesmaids and groomsmen both wore navy blue, and Matt looked dashing in a black suit with a white shirt and white tie.
Micky held a teardrop bouquet, and the boys all wore white boutonnieres from The Lush Lily.
Matt and Micky’s personal vows to each other were a little sweet and a little funny, with both coincidentally mentioning Micky’s atrocious navigational skills. After the vows were read, they were placed in a box alongside a bottle of liqueur to be opened on their anniversary.

Happy anniversary!
