Sasha and Josh chose to celebrate their wedding over the long weekend, making it easy for their friends and family travelling from interstate to join them for the occasion. Wanting a laid-back and informal atmosphere, they opted for a casual garden ceremony, selecting a picturesque spot right beside the iconic lighthouse at Cleveland Point.
The ceremony site was beautifully styled by the team at Beautiful Illusions, who set up a striking white, circular arbour adorned with autumn flowers in rich shades of burnt orange. As midday approached, the couple’s loved ones gathered around. Despite his best intentions to keep his emotions in check, Josh found himself wiping away tears as Sasha made her way down the aisle.
The ceremony itself struck a perfect balance between heartfelt and light-hearted. There was plenty of playful banter, and the guests found themselves alternating between laughter and tears as they witnessed Sasha and Josh exchange their vows.
After the ceremony, Andy from A Thousand Miles Photography organised everyone for a group photo, capturing the joy and excitement of the moment. The guests then made their way to The Lighthouse Restaurant for refreshing drinks, while Sasha and Josh took a moment for their newlywed photo session. Once the photos were complete, the couple joined their guests to relax and enjoy a lunchtime reception by the bay, sharing good food, wine, and company.
