Elope Brisbane - Love Adventure

Lucinda and Anthony travelled from interstate with just their children for a family focused, low key, wedding experience. They asked the team at Elope Brisbane to create a Love Adventure to meet their vision.

Lucinda and the couple's daughters were glammed up by Hollywood Brides. The family were then picked up from their accommodation by Steve from Kandid Kombi and were transported to Kangaroo Point cliffs for a photo shoot with Romana Saeheng Photography and Graphic Design.

Lucinda wore a gorgeous white lace gown with a sexy sheer panel at the hip. Anthony and the boys wore forest green jackets with white shirts and chinos. The older girls wore slinky champagne coloured dresses, and the little girls wore pale pink party frocks.
Unfortunately, the raindrops thwarted plans for a ceremony by the river, so a quick switch to indoor plan B was in order. The couple were wed in a sweet, light ceremony, which we had crafted together via distance. The flower girls loved their role as professional petal scatterers and ensured all the wedding photos were full of colour.

Candles were lit for a catered, private dinner set up at Sure Thing Collective & Wedding Venue by CuppaMakeCake.
Lucinda and Anthony wrote these words of recommendation,
"Cheryl was so friendly and easy to engage with, even with our busy schedules, and communication from afar.
On our day, Cheryl was easy to redirect to our wet weather plan, and integrated perfectly with our small group, complimenting the feeling of being surrounded by family 🙂
From start to finish, we felt Cheryl's warmth, and kindness through her softly spoken words, smiles, and encouragement of laughter.
Thank you, Cheryl, for being a part of our day, and being so efficient with the legals as well."
This wedding day was memorable, enjoyable, special, and above all - hassle free. I think we'll be seeing lots more couples take this option up.

Wedding at Redland Bay Golf Club

Wedding at Redland Bay Golf Club
Caitlin and Rhys almost didn’t meet at all. Rhys rather spontaneously swapped his Foo Fighters ticket for a ticket to Electric Gardens festival, and Caitlin bought a ticket to the same festival at the last minute. They met by chance at the festival, then Caitlin’s friend invited Rhys out with them afterwards to go clubbing. They barely spoke that first evening they spent together, although Caitlin recalls thinking that Rhys was very quiet and that he seemed like a nice guy. Rhys thought that Caitlin was very intelligent and stunningly beautiful.
Rhys thought about Caitlin during the following week, and somehow tracked her down on Facebook. Caitlin, a little clueless at first, thought that Rhys was interested in her friend, but eventually she realised that, instead, Rhys had taken quite a liking to her.
After their first date some two weeks after first meeting, the couple were quickly inseparable, spending every free moment together. They embarked on a whirlwind romance.
Six years and three children later, Caitlin and Rhys exchanged their marriage vows by the bay. Caitlin, usually composed, let a little teardrop fall as she told Rhys that she had received the two greatest gifts in her life - his love, and their children. Rhys's face beamed with pride as he looked at his beautiful new wife.

Renewal of Vows Ceremony

After their original wedding day at Redcliffe was disrupted by sideways rain, Tahni and Caleb were excited to take up the offer from Elope Brisbane to don their wedding clothes again for a renewal of vows ceremony and photo shoot.
The couple arrived at the new Sure Thing Collective & Wedding Venue at Capalaba, Tahni in her off the shoulder dress by Exquisite Gowns by Yvonne and Caleb in a light coloured suit.
Their renewal of vows ceremony was a rework of their original wedding ceremony, which was abridged due to the sudden downpour. The couple also had the opportunity to exchange their wedding vows in full and with the comfort of air conditioning and dry shoes.
After their ceremony, the couple travelled to the bayside at Wellington Point for a sunset photo shoot with photographer Romana Saeheng Photography and Graphic Design.
Weddings are even better done twice over!

Wedding at Roma Street Parkland, Brisbane

Wedding at Roma Street Parkland
Hayley and Jordan asked the team at Elope Brisbane to coordinate their Brisbane City wedding. They decided on the Palm Tree Court at Roma Street Parklands for the beautiful green backdrop in a central location.
The couple wrote some tender vows to each other, with Jordan stating,
“I’m so proud of the woman you’ve become. You’re compassionate, disciplined, and humble. You’re successful in your career, stronger than you give yourself credit for & more beautiful than I ever thought I deserved. Thank you for inspiring me every day. From how you always see the best in others to how you encourage me to see life in a more positive light. “
And Hayley declared, “I love that you are always thinking of our future, even if it involves monthly budget meetings. I love your ridiculous improvised songs and how deeply invested you get into reality TV. I love the passion you bring to all of your many hobbies, your courage to stand up for yourself and for us and the honourable values that you uphold. “
The light raindrops falling as Hayley arrived progressively grew bolder, and by the end of the ceremony, the couple decided to head straight to their reception venue at The Bethnal.
The ceremony ended with the song, “Just like Heaven” by The Cure, which was a unique choice.
Hayley wore a gorgeous A line dress with a square neckline by Tania Olsen Bridal and Jordan was dapper in an ivory jacket with a black bow tie and trousers.

Wedding on Leap Year day

When Jumeaux and Sarah started planning their wedding, they knew that they wanted to do things their own way.
With both loving nature and the outdoors, they chose the natural bush setting at Mount Coot-tha for their ceremony - close to the very place where Jumeax first proposed.
They also decided that if they could pick any date for their wedding, then it should be on Leap Year Day, February 29th.
The couple imagined a quiet and authentic ceremony, with just their closest family, and of course, their chocolate lab, Kofi.
Jumeaux walked down the aisle accompanied by her mum, then Sarah follwed accompanied by her mum. They chose the instrumental piece, "Meant to be" by Two Steps from Hell as their entrance song.
The couple chose to wear comfortable cotton shirts and trousers reflecting the colours of nature.
After their intimate ceremony, the couple and their guests celebrated with lunch at the Summit cafe high atop Mount Coot-tha.

Wedding at Broadway Chapel, Woollongabba

Wedding at Broadway Chapel, Woolloongabba
After being engaged for 16 years, a family visit from the UK prompted Amy and Michael to finally make it official.
They chose the beautifully restored140 year old wedding chapel at Woolloongabba for their ceremony, followed by celebrations at Ovolo in the Valley.
With humid, grey skies on their wedding day, the couple were relieved that their ceremony location was not only under cover, but cooled with air conditioning.
The couple's daughter was the star of the event as adorable flower girl.
I was thrilled that Amy chose lines from Harry Potter for the ceremony, "After all this time?" and "Always."
