Isle or Aisle

This is one of those frequently misused terms. Below is a picture of an isle - a small island.

King Island, Wellington Point
An aisle is a walkway - often at a wedding between rows of chairs. At a traditional wedding, the bride would walk down the aisle (not isle) on the arm of her father. See pics of aisles below:
Red carpet aisle at Macarthur Park Wedding Gardens

White carpet aisle at Redland Bay Golf Club
Timber aisle at Albert River Wines Chapel

Red carpet aisle at Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club
Grass aisle at Fox and Hounds, Wongawallan

Indoor aisle

Hope this helps your wedding planning!

Lovelock Ceremony

Sarah and Max found this lovely idea to personalise their wedding ceremony. The lovelock tree was purchased on the internet, and woodworker, Max, built this beautiful stand to showcase it.

During the ceremony, their parents and grandparents added love locks to the base of the tree, showing the support of their families forming the basis of their strength.
Then Sarah and Max together added an engraved padlock of their own to the trunk of the tree.
Hopefully, in the years to come, they will be able to add to the branches of their tree when they start a family of their own.
This will be a beautiful memory of their wedding day to display in their home.
