Beneath the giant fig tree at G J Walter Park, Kurt and Mel tied the knot in a simple and intimate ceremony.
Kurt waited anxiously in front of the bamboo arbour, looking smart in a navy jacket with a navy tie and black trousers. Mel arrived in the orange Kombi van, accompanied by her son, Oscar, who was dapper in a pale blue suit, matching the dresses of Mel’s daughters. Mel’s hair was swept up in a sophisticated French roll, and she wore an off the shoulder ivory dress of stretch lace. Mel’s bouquet of white roses was a classic teardrop shape.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at the historic Grand View Hotel, a fitting place to share good food, music, laughter, and the joy of this unforgettable day.
